Review 1: An interesting take on the hillbilly cannibal family genre--after the first 50 or so brutally violent pages, Burke chooses to focus his story on what happens to survivors and their family after such a traumatic event. Burke is a better writer than many of his contemporaries, although the point of view jumped around a few too many times for me and there were too many characters. Kealan Patrick BurkeReview 2: To think this book cost me around 20 cents (I bought for a dollar a set of horror books for my kindle. Recommended) and is a wonderful reading. Hich makes it an easy reading because it makes you wants to know what will become of them. Great horror story.
